OMNI – The Origin of a New MOBA Vision

Our first full studio release, OMNI pioneered a bold new take on the MOBA genre—introducing fan-favourite characters and gameplay ahead of its time.

OMNI marked a major milestone for Lightmare Studios: our first fully developed title as a studio—and a bold early step into the MOBA space.

Launched in 2010 through a nationwide rollout across more than 100 internet cafés and PC bangs in the Philippines—thanks to our publishing partner LevelUp! Games—OMNI quickly found a dedicated player base and remained active through late 2012 into early 2013.

Featuring an over-the-shoulder perspective and fast-paced multiplayer action, OMNI embraced a style of gameplay that would later rise to global popularity with titles like Smite.

It also introduced several original characters that went on to feature in future Lightmare games—laying the creative groundwork for the expanded Infinity Universe.

As our first release, OMNI helped shape our studio’s DNA: player-focused gameplay, bold genre experimentation, and unforgettable characters.
